We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance and oversee the company’s corporate, regulatory, and commercial legal matters. This role will serve as a key legal advisor to leadership, helping the company grow while staying compliant and protected from legal risk.
The ideal candidate combines strong business judgment with deep legal expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
As Senior Corporate Counsel at Hyrivo, you’ll provide strategic legal guidance across the organization, supporting our mission to deliver accessible solar solutions. You’ll lead complex corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, partner closely with business leaders to manage risk, and help scale the company responsibly. From contracts and compliance to governance and transactions, your work will enable Hyrivo to grow with confidence while advancing the transition to clean energy.

What you'll do
Advise executive leadership and the board on corporate governance and legal strategy
Oversee corporate structure, subsidiaries, and entity management
Draft and review board resolutions, policies, and governance documents
Lead negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial agreements
Support partnerships, vendor contracts, customer agreements, and strategic transactions
Develop and improve contract templates and legal processe
Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Design and maintain internal compliance programs and policies
Provide guidance on data protection, privacy, and risk management
Identify legal risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
Manage pre-litigation disputes and coordinate with external counsel when necessary
Support internal investigations and legal audits
Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other corporate transactions
Conduct due diligence and support transaction structuring
Work closely with finance, HR, operations, and leadership teams
Translate complex legal matters into clear business guidance
Train internal teams on legal and compliance best practices
What you have
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house counsel experience
Strong background in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
Experience supporting senior executives and cross-functional teams
Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
Strong business acumen and practical problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The hourly pay for this position ranges from $40–$150 USD and includes eligibility for equity. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on several factors, including skill set, experience level, certifications, and geographic location.
